The two rules

Rule 1. A public issue gets a public acknowledgment, even a brief one.

Rule 2. Individual performance is always handled privately.

When

  • First 3 hours: visible to the community, hurting performance now
  • First 24 hours: needs a response today, not acute, not public
  • First week: a pattern that needs monitoring first

How to use this activity

Use NEXT and PREV to move through the slides. On the in-tray slide, open each item, choose when and how, and save it.

In the live session, you complete the in-tray on your own screen, then copy your answers into the Teams chat when the facilitator says "go". The facilitator shares the review slide.

Working on your own? Go straight through. The review opens after you share or skip sharing.
